Team Lunch

In June, we achieved some amazing safety, quality and productivity results, marking a milestone that highlights the collective effort of our entire team. Before we set our sights on even greater achievements, we came together to celebrate our success with a team lunch.
Well done and thank you, Hidrive team! 👏🏻💪🏻

Team Lunch

Our team lunches (which we hold every month) are shared moments we all look forward to at Hidrive. 🍔🤸 They’re not just meals, they are gestures of appreciation, prepared by us for our colleagues, that bring us together and make us all feel valued. Small things, big impact.

Pink Stumps Day

McGrath Foundation logo

We proudly hosted our Pink Stumps Day across all six Hidrive locations again this year!🏏 Spreading love and support, one pink stump at a time! 💗

Our teams always get behind Pink Stumps Day which is not only a great opportunity to impress colleagues with a ‘Pat Cummins special’ or a well-timed six over the fence, but also to a enjoy a tasty lunch while raising money and awareness for the McGrath Foundation.

Helping a Hidrive Mate

When our colleague Graham suffered a cardiac arrest early in 2024 and needed time off work for surgery and recuperation, we rallied together for a ‘Helping a Hidrive Mate’ fundraiser lunch at all our locations. Staff chipped in over a thousand dollars, matched dollar for dollar by Hidrive, for a grand total of $2,131 towards Graham’s medical expenses and family needs.

It was a privilege to stand behind our colleague in his time of need and the great news is he’s now back at work and fighting fit! 🩵

Harmony Week

Harmony Week

Harmony Week celebrates Australian multiculturalism and the successful integration of migrants into our community. Hidrive has actively supported this event for several years and 2024 was no exception.

Harmony Week is a special time for us to shine a light on the diversity that enriches our team at Hidrive. With colleagues from all over of the globe — Pakistan, Afghanistan, Fiji, South Africa, Malaysia, India, Nepal, England, Switzerland, and more — our team is a dynamic blend of cultural backgrounds. It was great to enjoy a tasty lunch together and hear stories about life in other countries. 🌏❤️

Helping a Hidrive Mate

When one of our Hidrive colleagues was diagnosed with leukemia late in 2023, our team rallied to support him. We hosted ‘Helping a Hidrive Mate’ fundraiser lunches at all our locations, raising $4,255 towards Greg’s medical expenses and family needs ($2,127 from our staff, matched dollar for dollar by Hidrive).

It was a privilege to stand behind our colleague and his family in his time of need as he underwent chemotherapy. We are thankful to report Greg is now back at work. 🩵

Riding for the Disabled (NSW)

RDA Goulburn

RDA (NSW) is a volunteer organisation that provides people with a disability the opportunity to ride and enjoy activities connected with horse riding. A unique form of exercise and rehabilitation, the complex movement of the horse helps improve coordination, balance, muscular development and fitness.

Hidrive held a fundraising team lunch at all our locations to raise money and awareness for this great cause. With a gold coin donation as the price of entry, we raised over $1,250 for RDA Goulburn.

RRT Hay Farmers Community Connect Event

After devastating floods in the NSW Northern Rivers, Rapid Relief Team (RRT) volunteers hosted a Farmer’s Community Connect event in Lismore and Hidrive sprang into action to support this effort.

Several Hidrive employees volunteered their time, and we also despatched a Hidrive truck as part of the RRT convoy that donated 1,224 hay bales and 880 bags of rye grass seed to nearly 300 local farmers affected by the floods.
