Hidrive Triple ISO Certification Reinforces Commitment to Customer Certainty

SYDNEY, AUS – Hidrive is thrilled to announce we’ve achieved a prestigious, internationally recognised triple ISO certification. This milestone — encompassing ISO 9001 Quality Management, ISO 14001 Environmental Management, and ISO 45001 Safety Management — underscores our commitment to operational excellence, environmental stewardship, and workplace safety.

Hidrive is the first Australian manufacturer of service bodies to receive a triple ISO accreditation.

ISO 9001 — Quality Management

ISO9001 Quality iconRetaining our ISO 9001 certification demonstrates our strong and consistent performance in designing, manufacturing and delivering products of the highest quality. We embrace continuous improvement of our products and services, track customer satisfaction and address concerns, and operate within a process- and innovation-driven ecosystem. Hidrive has held this certification for a number of years and we’ve worked hard to maintain our high standards and secure the additional quality accreditations outlined below.

Colin Imms, Hidrive’s Quality Assurance Manager, said ISO 9001 certification helps provide certainty to the company’s customers.

“Our ISO 9001 certification reflects our relentless pursuit of quality and structured approach to risk management. By consistently meeting or exceeding customer expectations, we build lasting relationships and solidify our position as a trusted provider of industry-leading, fit-for-purpose service bodies for utes, trailers, and trucks.”

ISO 14001 — Environmental Management

ISO14001 Environmental iconGaining ISO 14001 certification is an endorsement of our commitment to sustainability and environmental responsibility, and the range of measures we’ve implemented to reduce our environmental footprint.

We recycle as many by-products and materials as possible, such as steel and aluminium offcuts generated through the production process, along with swarf and cardboard. We’ve also increased our recycling of office consumables, batteries and organic waste.

We use aluminium to build our canopies because it is durable, lightweight and rust-resistant. Other benefits include improved fuel efficiency, lower CO2 emissions and reduced load on vehicle brakes compared with steel and some other materials.

As anyone who’s owned a Hidrive knows, our service bodies are built to last and often outlive the vehicles they are fitted to. That’s why we engineer them so they can be taken off one vehicle and put onto another.

Stan Eagle, Hidrive CEO, expressed the company’s pride in achieving ISO 14001 certification.

“At Hidrive, we understand the vital role businesses play in preserving our environment. This ISO 14001 certification is a testament to our commitment to reducing our environmental impact and ensuring compliance with the highest standards of environmental management.”

ISO 45001 — Safety Management

ISO45001 Safety iconWorkplace safety is a priority at all Hidrive offices and production facilities Australia-wide. Our ISO 45001 certification reflects the safe and supportive work environment we provide to staff and contractors through our Occupational Health and Safety Management System. Keeping staff safe in the workplace can be challenging in a manufacturing environment, so we are particularly proud of the endorsement this certification represents.

Toby Dunlop, Hidrive’s Acting Head of Operations, emphasised the importance of ISO 45001 in shaping our safety culture.

“Ensuring the wellbeing of our employees is a top priority for Hidrive. ISO 45001 certification reaffirms our commitment to maintaining the highest standards of occupational health and safety, and creating a workplace where our team members can thrive,” said Mr Dunlop.

In attaining triple ISO certification, Hidrive met stringent international standards and demonstrated our commitment to environmental sustainability, workplace safety, and consistent quality. This milestone reinforces our position as an industry leader and sets a benchmark for excellence in the manufacturing of service bodies for utes, trailers and trucks.
