As Australia’s leading provider of spatial data services, Veris partnered with Hidrive to deliver tailored ute service bodies to their fleet. Upgrading from their traditional fleet vehicle of fiberglass tub top canopies, Veris made the switch to Hidrive to ensure higher quality, better access and more reliable mobile workspaces for their technicians.

We worked with the Veris Fleet Management team to design and configure their new canopies in line with their rigorous requirements and installed the first five Toyota Hilux service vehicles at our Brisbane location. The vehicles were deployed into the Veris Property and Engineering Surveying teams operating in Queensland and NSW.
The vehicles were designed to provide industry-leading services on large construction projects such as:
- Smithfield Bypass construction in Cairns
- Inland Rail construction on the Narribri to Northstar N2NS section
- Cross River Rail construction in Brisbane
- Cadastral surveying projects in the Whitsundays
- Residential estates in the Flagstone growth area west of Brisbane
Key features of the Hidrive ute canopies included:
- Full canopy service bodies for maximum storage space
- Underbody rear roller drawer for lockable storage of longer items like survey pegs and poles
- Fire extinguisher
- Rubber floor matting
- Hi-definition reverse camera, full screen mirror mount
- Light, lock & go kit (central locking, LED interior lights, door ajar alert, & 12V double cig socket)
- Tonnes of other features to create the ideal fleet for their needs
