A tailgate loader, also called a ute tail lift, is a lifting device fitted to the rear of your ute. It raises heavy loads from the ground up to tray height so you don’t have to lift them by hand. Hidrive’s tailgate loader uses a manual winch you operate with one hand. There are no hydraulics to service and no power supply to worry about. It’s a straightforward piece of material handling equipment that removes the hardest, most dangerous part of the job: getting a heavy load off the ground and into the tray.
The loader sits at the back of your service body. You lower the platform, load your gear onto it at ground level, then wind the manual handle to raise it to tray height.
